As part of a comprehensive energy study assignment, RYA carries out the thermal analyses required to optimise the building’s energy performance.
The static thermal studies, including PHPP calculations and thermal bridge analysis, make it possible to assess heating energy demand as well as primary energy consumption. In addition, a dynamic thermal simulation is performed to analyse the risk of summer overheating and to support the design team in making architectural and technical decisions.
RYA also carries out the preliminary sizing of heating, cooling and ventilation systems, while advising the design team on the selection of high-performance, traditional and renewable technical solutions.
The building has obtained passive building certification from the Plateforme Maison Passive, confirming its high level of energy performance.
